Another day in Paris + ESCF Ferrandi

Today Chino and I got an early start, even though it feels like all of this running around is catching up to me. Not quite rid of the cold/SARS yet, but I'm working on it. We strolled through Luxembourg gardens and then had breakfast at Bread and Roses. They had yummy brioche:

We did a bit of shopping, and then headed to ESCF Ferrandi. Stephanie Curtis who coordinates the bilingual program there met us for a tour. The school is so big! Turns out that its going to be a 5 month program with a 6 month stage aka internship. Thats a long time in Paris. Sorta stoked, sorta scared. Hopefully they'll have space for me in the September program. I'm banking on some Chinese applicant having his Visa rejected (the French don't like China??) or that they're going to have a second group. However the French do like the Japanese..and have got Chino pegged:

After the tour, we stopped by Poilane for a quick pastry and then over to Invalides, where Chino scoped out the war museum and came out a little traumatized. Then it was on to the Eiffel Tower. We took some fun pictures there.

I've heard the expression of being up on the fence, but stuck in it? Silly Chino.

Some pretty Eiffel Tower pictures:

For dinner, we stopped by Carette and had a nice salad, potatoes, and sandwiches. We even saved room for dessert. They made up for last night's atrocities, but were too sweet. Alas I just dropped my toothbrush in the toilet, and must go get another one tomorrow.
