Picard round 3

So this week's Picard venture required even less cooking. The two entrees went into the microwave and the veggie dish cooked in the oven for 20 minutes.

On the menu? Rogan Josh lamb (which sounds like some person's name), butter chicken, and a mixed veggie crumble.

Though the lamb had not one, not two, but THREE chili's next to it, it was hardly spicy at all. Of course this is France, where people don't really spice their foods, but I think the dish only warranted one chili, if any.

The butter chicken tasted, well, like butter chicken. So that was really nice. For some reason I was a bit apprehensive that it wouldn't be hardly as good as any of the Indian food I've had in the states or the UK, but it was still pretty good considering its frozen. The veggie crumble, on the other hand, was very disappointing. Though the most visually appealing of the three dishes, it lacked flavor and the veggies were far too mushy. Maybe it doesn't help that I think crumble belongs on a dessert and not on veggies.
